My Resolutions: Follow Up

Oh, looks like it's been a minute. Really cool to see I stick to my goals of writing more - and my last post was in February. *Pat on the back* But I've been up to things I swear. I MOVED to my favorite city in the world. The word "Minneapolis" is actually in my address. Ugh. Happiness. So I guess I've been living my best life and that's not made up.
I'd like to follow up on some of my resolutions I made back in January. I don't even remember what they all are, but I figured I'd copy and paste and follow up with you because I want to set myself accountable as well.

1. Write more thank-you letters. -- so saying thank you out loud probably doesn't count. I've put thank you cards on my "to get" list and have made a list of who I'll be sending them out to!
2. Write more in general. -- blog, journal, write down thoughts, prayers, and new ideas. - well you already know how the blog life is going...but i continue to write down thoughts and ideas all the time (on post-it notes of course)
3. Save my hard earned moola! -- start a budget and be more mindful of how I spend my money. - why does spending money have to be so easy, that's all I have to say.
4. Call my family members more. Living over two hours away means less trips home and more "i miss you's". - i'm often calling my mom while I go on a run. she always knows because usually when she picks up, "oh you must be exercising"
5. Read more. I seriously always tell myself this - please give me good book ideas. - i've gotten a couple new books lately and i'm making my way through them little by little - more on the types of books I'm reading later
6. Take better care of my body. Hair, skin, diet, exercise (it's just so important) #selflove - i've invested in some great skin-care products and actually just bought a yoga membership!
7. Take more pictures. - check check check
8. Travel more - there's never a better time to see the world. - since my last post, i went to Colorado in March and Toronto in Early June and I'm going to Montana at the end of July!
9. When I don't know the answer, ask more. (at work, at home, in public) - more to come on this one too
10. Never shy away from my positive attitude - it's my favorite thing about myself. - happy to say this one will never go away
I guess these may not be as interesting for you to read - I get that. BUT writing it down helps me self-reflect and realize what I can work on. Although resolutions don't always follow through - I've realized what priorities I set high, and which ones I can work on or transform into more reflective images of myself and my values.
See you next time!
Hopefully soon. Really soon.
I promise.
