New Year, Better Me

I'm going to keep this one short and sweet. It's nine days past the new year. Happy 2018 by the way.

To be honest, I usually do some sort of New Year's resolution and it usually has something to do with eating less sugar. Well, my desk is located directly across three jars of candy so I'm not going to fight that one.

I think this year I'm going to focus on doing more of something instead of less. More of doing what I love, and less holding back.

This is what I've come up with so far.

1. Write more thank-you letters. -- the choices I've made in my life are reflected by the people in my life, recognize that.

2. Write more in general. -- blog, journal, write down thoughts, prayers, and new ideas

3. Save my hard earned moola! -- start a budget and be more mindful of how I spend my money

4. Call my family members more. Living over two hours away means less trips home and more "i miss you's".

5. Read more. I seriously always tell myself this - please give me good book ideas.

6. Take better care of my body. Hair, skin, diet, exercise (it's just so important) #selflove

7. Take more pictures.

8. Travel more - there's never a better time to see the world.

9. When I don't know the answer, ask more. (at work, at home, in public)

10. Never shy away from my positive attitude - it's my favorite thing about myself.

Feeling good about these!
